Soft annealing

Stress relieving

This operation is performed to reduce distortion during heat treatment
Hardening
Harden from temperature of 780 to 820℃, 800 to 860℃ followed by water or oil quenching
Hardness after quenching is min 64-65 HRC
Tempering
Tempering temperature: 150 to 300℃
Forging
Hot forming temperature: 1050 to 850℃
Corrosion resistance
Corrosion resistance of this alloy is better than that of plain carbon steels
However it will rust unless given protective treatment
